Here are a few words about why we do what we do..

Unfortunately, the growing shortage of nursing professionals is impacting all of us who depend on the tireless dedication of these unsung heroes.  Medical facilities are forced to run short staffed which means longer hours, lower morale and a decreased ability to deliver good patient care.

The situation is not going to improve as more Baby-Boomer era nurses retire from the work force and will eventually require the same level of loving care that they have delivered for a lifetime.  Will there be enough nurses to carry on the time honored tradition of care they have passed on?  Someone has got to do something to encourage young people to choose skilled nursing as a career path and to assist them during the long and expensive training they must aquire.
